Terms of Service

1. TMO Books provides PDF import, an on-device library, reading position, bookmarks, document-text search, viewing preferences, and optional online translation.
2. PDF files and library state stay on your device. TMO Books does not provide server backup or cross-device sync for the library, so you are responsible for keeping a separate copy of important files.
3. An email account is created by verifying a one-time code sent to an address you control. Do not share your mailbox, OTP, account, or session with another person.
4. Some features, including online translation and purchase restoration, require a valid account and internet connection.

1. Import and translate only PDFs you are legally entitled to use. TMO Books does not supply the PDF or grant rights to its contents.
2. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights; send unlawful or harmful material; misuse another person's credentials or purchase; bypass quotas, purchase verification, ads, or access controls; or generate abusive automated traffic.
3. The operator may limit requests, end sessions, restrict an account, or suspend a feature when necessary to address a violation, abuse, or security risk.

1. Before the first remote translation, the app asks for consent to send extracted text and the target language through the TMO Books server to Google Gemini. Without consent, no remote translation request is made.
2. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or misleading wording. Check the original and obtain qualified advice before relying on medical, legal, financial, safety, or other important content.
3. Available languages, models, speed, display, and usage allowances may change for technical or operational reasons. Current paid allowances appear on the purchase screen.

1. Current price, billing period, and translation allowance are shown before purchase. Apple and App Store terms also govern payment, billing, cancellation, and refunds.
2. Monthly and annual Plus plans renew automatically until canceled in Apple subscription management. Both provide monthly translation usage and remove library ads while entitlement is active. Annual-plan usage is also issued monthly, and unused usage does not roll over.
3. The separate one-time ad-removal product removes library ads but provides no translation usage or Plus subscription status.
4. From the current TMO Books account, including a new account registered after deletion, sign in to the App Store with the Apple account used for the purchase and expressly choose Restore Purchases. The server verifies the transaction with Apple, then transfers the matching store entitlements and remaining usage balance recorded for a deleted account to the current account. Restoration does not restore local PDF files or library state.

The iOS library may show a non-personalized AdMob ad when ad-removal access is inactive and the applicable Google privacy flow permits an ad request. Firebase usage analytics is off by default and requires a separate opt-in. Advertising and analytics choices do not grant one another.

1. Features may be interrupted by PDF format restrictions, file damage or encryption, device permission or storage, network conditions, maintenance, security incidents, or Apple, Google, AWS, and other provider changes.
2. Translation accuracy, completeness, and fitness for a particular purpose are not guaranteed. Keep your own backup of important PDFs and verify important output.
3. Except where liability cannot legally be limited, the operator is not responsible for loss caused by your device, network, third-party services, unauthorized use, or failure to keep local backups. Nothing excludes liability for intent or gross negligence where such exclusion is unlawful.
4. The operator may revise these terms within applicable law and will announce material changes before they take effect where required.

You may start account deletion in the app. Local PDFs can remain on the device, limited purchase and financial records may remain for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, and App Store subscription cancellation is separate. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and jurisdiction follows applicable civil procedure law. Contact [email protected] with questions.
